Walter Allward

Walter Seymour Allward, Was born on April 18 of 1876y died on April 24, 1955 in Toronto. He was a Canadian sculptor, probably the most important sculptor of monuments of beginning of the 20th century of Canada. His first work was in the age of 14 years as assistant of his father, who was a carpenter. There worked as draftsman for one the signature of architecture Gibson and Simpson and later realizing molds with clay to make decorative panels for Don Valley Brick's Company Works. It received classes of formation in the Technical School of New Allward being prepared for his long career by the monumental sculpture. Allward was a member of the Royal Academy of the Arts.
